The Kremlin and St.Basils' Cathedral: The Kremlin is the
former residence of Russian tsars and one of the most beautiful ensembles of
the world. The Cathedral Square with 15th century Assumtion Cathedral, the private
church of Russian tsars and the 16th century Cathedral of the Archangel, the
burial place of the tsars. Bell Tower of Ivan the Great, famous "Tsar Pushka"
of 16th and Tsar Bell of the 18th century
St.Basils Cathedral of the Intercession. Built in 16th century by order of Ivan
the Terrible is the gem of Russian architecture. The Cathedral symbolizes Russia's
victory in the struggle against Tatar-Mongols. It is named after the holy man
Basil, buried in this cathedral.
