The Novodevichy Convent
The Novodevichy Convent: is located on the territory of
a former convent for ladies of noble birth. The convent is one the finest examples
of 16th and 17th century Russian architecture. There is a history and art museum
on the grounds and a cemetery where many famous people are burried.
